zuky: motherjones: markcoatney: Apparently in Texas it’s OK for the state to execute 471 people since 1982, but it’s not OK for them to curse about it.  At least they stopped publishing their final meals… The World according to The State: Profane: certain colloquial words relating to sex and genitalia. Not profane: killing a wrongfully convicted human being. I still do not understand why so many people insist the death penalty is a good thing.  SO MANY innocent people have died.  So many are pissed that Casey Anthony is walking free, but shouldn’t you make DAMNED SURE you have evidence someone committed a crime before you EXECUTE them?  I mean, if that’s the kind of thing you’re into….
